Dipping Into Cenotes Of Tulum Could Be A New Holiday Experience

If you are visiting Tulum, Mexico located along the Yucatan Peninsula you should not miss cenotes or fresh water filled sinkholes. You may not have heard the word “cenote’ but you will like it when you venture in to one of that limestone bedded water holes that is filled with fresh water. Cenote Aktun Ha

It is on the road to coba and it has both open pool and a cavern which is ideal for cave diving. You will also find a swing rope and the cenote is made attractive by the underwater plants that make wonderful photography

Cenote Calavera

This is located on the QR 109 route and it is off the regular path and is ideal for swimming and diving.

Cenoe Zacil Ha

It is an open cenote situated just past cenote carwash. It has a zipline as well as platforms for jumping in to the crystal blue waters. You will also find hammocks for lounging.

Cenote Encantado

It is 10 km travel on the beach road and is also the easiest to reach from beach hotel zone in Tulum

Cenote Cristal and cenote Escondido

These have one entrance and are located just outside of Tulum on the 307. Though with one entrance, they are divided in to two by a road which is cutting through the center. These are gorgeously beautiful pools that make excellent photography with clear water right in the middle of the jungle.

Cenote Dos Ojos

This cenote is located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. It is one of the best cavern cenotes that is suitable for scuba diving in Tulum coastal line.
